About Me

Greetings Wanderer: Welcome to my little hovel on the internet. Here you may find an ever growing archive of past works, some new yet many old. Things are ordered (roughly) based on date created, so expect some changes in the organization to come.

I’m a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Portland with a major in Game Art and Design. I’m trained in the use of multiple 3D tools such as Maya, 3DSMax, and UDK. My greatest passion though lies in the creation of games, be it tabletop or digital. I’ve written design documents, built levels from scribbled designs on notebook paper, and detailed environments while actively searching/fixing bugs.

Typically, games are defined as “a form of media where the player can take control.”I feel as if the greatest element of a game, and what makes it unique to any other form of communication, is the ability to create systems that react to a player’s input. I find this is a far better way to describe what makes games interesting as a medium, as this is usually how we define the game while playing it.These systems are what fascinate me about games, and I love to build upon them when creating, especially when working with a team.
